In my driving defense, that Range Rover like vehicle I was driving had the "Rolls Easily" sticker removed.
I haven't really found anything I dislike about the game once you figure out the menus. The game will come with 50 hours. Hours are only used in the Action Districts (Financial and Waterfront) not the Social District. So you could stay all night in the Social District and not lose any game time. Social District is where customization is done to clothing, vehicles, decals, tattoos. Also buy new weapons. So if you spend an hour designing something or customizing your car you didn't lose an hour of game time. It's very easy to make money in the game to buy clothing, weapons, and vehicles. The game pops up with assignments you can do for the different contacts or accept an APB for a crime in progress (capture or defend a point). Bounties are put on player's heads which you get if you get them first. You're also able to group up and do missions or APB's. There is no required amount of ppl to do them as a group. It can be two ppl. You're able to drive your vehicles or take a vehicle from someone on the street or break into a vehicle and take that.
The spawn points after dying are not to far away from where you were killed so you're not half a map away. Weapons are good and the more expensive ones you get the better they are. Clothing is customizable so unless you leave your stuff stock the chances of you looking like someone else are small. The creation of you character is incredible. The level of detail you can go to is pretty cool, shape of eyes etc. There is even a tattoo parlor to design your own tattoos. Like Red said if you are a passenger you can hang out the window and fire at criminals/cars.
Other missions are going on around you so gunfire or speeding cars are the norm. You're never AFK in the Action Districts. Even though you can't kill a criminal not on your mission you can hold them up for the pursuing officer.
Being that this a fairly new release, some things you have to figure out along the way with key binds, customization etc. but every new game is that way.
Overall, it's that happy medium between MOHAA and WoW. It has the quest lines, AH, professions like WoW but has the gunplay and spontenatey of MOHAA with the APB's and bounties. Plus how can beat getting a car from the getgo or being able to take faster cars for that matter. _________________ Angel on my left, Devil on my right.
From what I've gathered from the posts and videos I've watched, the reason I haven't jumped right into the game is primarily the monthly fee, secondly the fact that you cannot just kill everyone. I just don't want to drop the fifty bucks to try it out because I need every dime I can get.
I wish I had made it in time to try out that free 5 hours play or whatever... _________________ Built new rig: amd phenom 2 x4 955 3.2ghz BE
